Swiss Normandy - Orne Circuit

Tourist routes in the Orne

Partez à la découverte de l’Orne en Normandie, oubliez montres, plumes, dossiers et cahiers d’écolier : le temps est venu de s’évader !

The name alone should be temptation enough! Picturesque sites, sloping and verdant landscapes, snaking gorges sculpted by the Orne and its mysterious little tributaries, steep-sided valleys, babbling waters, rocky escarpments, open moorland, pastureland divided by hedgerows and stone walls as well as farmhouses built from schist, sandstone and granite.

On the route :

Le Lac de Rabodanges, cruises, water-skiing, canoeing, fishing….

Les Gorges de Saint Aubert, carved by the river Orne and bounded by rocky, wooded slopes, this is a wild and imposing sight..

La Forêt-Auvray and its 18th century covered market
