La Croix des Lande of course offers northern specialties such as Flemish carbonade (beef cheek cooked in beer with gingerbread), wholemeal Welsh (melted cheddar on a slice of toast and ham), Potjevleesh (a terrine of four meats in jelly: rabbit, chicken, veal and pork), served with home fries cooked in beef fat, as well as homemade burgers and desserts such as Tiramisu with Speculoos or made with chicory (roasted and powdered roots that are used to make a hot, caramel-flavored drink that is very popular in Nord-Pas-de-Calais).
