Presentation
The episcopal palace of Sees, built in the 18th century for the Bishop of Argentré is a masterpiece of neo-classical architecture, framed to the north and south by two large gardens.
The south garden redesigned in 2010 keeps the spirit of the original garden. It is organized into four spaces on either side of a central aisle, the great axis of perspective of the palace. A quincunx of lime trees was planted on the terrace in the courtyard. The squares of the orchard-garden were restored. They are bordered by fruit trees.
A walk through the transition between the garden '"peigné"' and the surrounding nature unfolds along the Orne, an bridge allows to step over.
