• Alençon
The Martin family house (birthplace of Saint Therese), the Basilique Notre-Dame where Louis and Zélie Martin were married and Saint Therese was baptised. The Musée des Beaux Arts et de la Dentelle (museum of fine arts and lace) – about Alençon lace which has UNESCO world heritage status.
• Sées
An episcopal city home to the Cathédrale Notre-Dame, a gem of Normandy gothic architecture and to the Musée d’Art Religieux.
