The dwelling was built in the mid-16th century for a family of master blacksmiths, then transformed at the end of the reign of Louis XIV.
The manor’s terraced gardens are dotted with topiaries, a pergola, a water staircase and an herb garden. Plato’s terrace dominates the walled garden and its mixed borders. Wells, pools, fountains, a collection of euphorbias, and themed green rooms. Exhibitions and conferences.
